Our commitments.
ACA’s published objectives cover the following areas:
- Develop and govern competition climbing in Alberta and Cranbrook, BC.
- Coordinate the youth and adult competition calendar, sanction events and maintain consistent competition rules.
- Support athletes and host gyms, and develop training for coaches, judges, officials and routesetters.
- Connect regional climbers with Climbing Escalade Canada, the national sport organization and strengthen partnerships across the climbing community.
- Promote climbing-related events and recreational climbing.
- Provide financial support for members attending national and international competitions, as part of ACA’s published objectives.
