Which membership fits you?
Athlete
For climbers entering ACA-sanctioned competitions. Arrange your season membership and required waiver before following the event’s entry process.
Coach
For coaches taking part in ACA competition activities. Review the portal’s certification, waiver and screening requirements.
Routesetter
For routesetters working at ACA events. Check the portal for current requirements.
Supporter
For volunteers, officials, board members and other supporters. There is no set fee: donations support events and development opportunities.

For coaches.
Prepare these items before completing your season membership:
- ACA seasonal waiver and Concussion Education Waiver.
- Safe Sport certification.
- Your NCCP number from Coach.ca ↗.
- A valid Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the past three years.
Complete the current requirements in the membership portal before participating as a coach.
Membership isn’t event registration.
After joining, use each event’s page to check entry instructions, deadlines and availability.
