  C/D - All Athletes

  Youth A Females who placed 23 or below at the December 9th Boulder Local at CCC Chinook

  Youth A Males who placed 20 or below at the December 9th Boulder Local at CCC Chinook

  Youth B Females who placed 18 or below at the December 9th Boulder Local at CCC Chinook

  Youth B Males who placed 13 or below at the December 9th Boulder Local at CCC Chinook

  Format

  The competition will be a full scramble qualifier (30 to 45 problems athletes can try over the course of 2 ½ hour) and the top 6 in each category will move on to a 5 on 5 off final. The scramble format will offer a diverse range of problems to challenge all of our athletes.

  Registration Requirements

  Athletes are required to have a 2023/2024 ACA membership and a signed waiver for the season.

  Youth A & B athletes that placed in the lower half of their age / gender category at the 2023-DEC-09 competition (listed above) are invited to register for this competition.

  A & B athletes that placed in the top half of the 2023-DEC-09 competition will be de-registered.

  8:30am start, 11:00am finish

  B & A Qualifier Round

  10:30am Check-in & Technical Mtg.

  11:30am Start, 2:00pm finish

  Setting Changeover- 2:00pm - 5:00pm

  Finals - Top 6 in each category from qualifiers

  4:00pm Iso Check-in & Technical Mtg.

  4:45pm iso closes

  5:00pm Start, 8:30pm finish

  Our Vertical Life platform isn’t setup to score a full scramble. We are going to use different systems to score results in Qualifiers and Finals.

  Qualifiers

  The qualifier round scoring results will be tracked manually, using a Spreadsheet. We’ll be posting the results in the gym and in this space.

  Finals

  We will be using Vertical Life for the finals scoring results.

  NOTE: we will be pre-loading all registered athletes into Vertical Life, and removing those who did not qualify between rounds.
