  Athlete Classes

  C&D - points for ACA ranking

  Jr, A, B - Tier 2, no points for ACA ranking

  Format

  Qualifiers: 3 routes, flashed format, qualifier videos. Top 8 to finals for C&D categories.

  Finals: 1 route, onsight with isolation, (Youth C/D Only)

  Top rope or auto belays will be used for all categories.

  Scoring - Qualifiers

  The scoring format for the qualifier round is “3 Routes, IFSC Scoring”. This is similar to the IFSC Scoring for 2 routes, but the calculation uses 3 routes to produce the results instead of 2.

  The previous competition used the “Multiple Routes with Added Scores” scoring format.

  Qualifier videos will be posted in this folder on Google Drive later in the week.

• Running Orders

  Qualifier running orders will be posted in this folder on Google Drive.

  Please refer to the Master Route List - Running Orders - 2025-FEB-23.pdf file for an overall view of the running orders and routes. The start times for the 2nd and 3rd heats is approximate.

  • C Female category is split into 3 groups, running on 3 different routes in heat 1, heat 2, and heat 3.

  • C Male category will all run on route 1 in heat 1, then route 2 in heat 2, then route 3 in heat 3.

  • D Female category will all run on route 1 in heat 1, then route 2 in heat 2, then route 3 in heat 3.

  • D Male category will all run on route 1 in heat 1, then route 2 in heat 2, then route 3 in heat 3.

  • Each B Athletes will be running with a specific C Female group. Refer to the Master Route List PDF for details.

• Scoring Results

  Scoring will be on Vertical Life.

• Topo Maps

  Qualifier Route Topo Maps will be posted to this folder on Google Drive later this week.
